Bradford Nordeen, director of Dirty Looks, a New York City-based roaming screening series, makes an appearance Saturday, 7:30 p.m. at the screening of the East Village drag videographer Tom Rubnitz’s lost tapes.
Rubnitz crafted low-budget, candy-colored video fantasies, including mock infomercials and cooking shows such as “Strawberry Shortcut” and the infamous “Pickle Surprise.”
The program includes numerous, never-before-seen works featuring performance luminaries like RuPaul, Ann Magnuson, Lady Bunny, and David Wojnarowicz. Tickets, $10, are available online.
