How do you like to “go Irish” on St. Patrick’s Day?

With bagpipes blaring next to you? With green eggs at brunch? Or maybe you just want to drink yourself silly with Irish car bombs, green beer and Guinness on tap?

West Hollywood might not have the New York City parade, and it might not dye a river green like Chicago, but it’s got plenty to offer on Paddy’s Day.

Block Party at Rock and Reilly’s Irish Pub

Rock & Reilly’s, WeHo’s only Irish-themed bar, will have a St. Patrick’s Day “Block Party” that will sprawl into the parking lots behind the bar on Saturday from noon until 10 p.m.

Thousands are expected to attend this outdoor festival, which will include food trucks, beer trucks and DJs spinning tunes throughout the day.

 St. Patrick’s Cocktails at RH Bar

Andaz West Hollywood is featuring two Irish-themed specialty cocktails and a dessert. The featured menu will be available March 15 through 17 in RH Bar and includes:

  • Luck o’ the Irish Ice Cream ($10) with candied pecan ice cream, drizzle of walnut liquor and a shot of Jameson whiskey.
  • Irish Fire Truck ($5) a 5-ounce pour of Fireman’s Brew Brunette with a Jameson and walnut cordial shot.
  • Irish Manhattan ($10) with Sino (Jameson aged tequila), a dash of sweet vermouth, cherry and orange rim.

Bag Pipes at Cabo Cantina

Cabo Cantina will feature bag pipes, giveaways, 99-cent Coronitas, “leprechaun” and “shamrock” shot specials and happy hour with 2-for-1 priced drinks from 4 to 8 p.m. as well as 10 p.m. to midnight.

The House of Blues along Sunset will offer three floors of Irish fun with free admission. The party includes live bands, DJs, Irish drink and food specials, giveaways and go-go dancers.

Party promoter Tom Whitman puts on a St. Patrick’s Day party Sunday at his weekly “Size Sundays” at Here Lounge.

The event will be hosted by another well-known party promoter Billy Francesca, who puts on LipTickler at Micky’s.

The DJs will be Konrad Parker and Derek Monteiro. Green beer and Jell-o shots will be available, as well as 2-for-1 drinks from 2 to 5 p.m. A Sunday “beer bust” will offer $3 drafts, $5 personal pitchers and $10 pitchers from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Go Green at Fubar

Fubar is advertising a St. Patrick’s party with a whole lot of green in it (and drinking).

The bar is offering green beer all day, along with green Jell-o shots, “green beer pong” and “green go-go boys.”
