It’s been about eight months since comedian Tig Notaro took the stage at Largo to address her recent cancer treatments and other personal difficulties, an act soon after described as “instantly legendary.”

“In 27 years doing this, I’ve seen a handful of truly great, masterful standup sets,” Louis C.K. said. “One was Tig Notaro last night at Largo.”

This Monday, Notaro returns to Largo in conversation with Jeff Garlin (Larry David’s grumpy manager in “Curb Your Enthusiasm”) to talk about her year and how she’s turned tragedy into art.

While her star has never been higher, Notaro has suffered a string of crushing blows (a double mastectomy, invasive intestinal diseases and the death of her mother).

The conversation takes place at 8:30 p.m. Largo at the Coronet is at 366 N. La Cienega Blvd. The price is $30.
