Lange recently gained 35 pounds for a movie role. “I can say the movie features an A-List action star,” he teased.

To bulk up, he does two hours of exercise a day, five days a week. He’s hovered around 200 pounds for the last few years, but now he’s up to 240.

“I’m in the gym five days a week, Monday through Friday, in this order: shoulders, arms, legs/abs, back, chest,” he said.

Lange works out at Train on La Cienega about an hour and a half a day, and does high intensity interval training three days a week for 20 minutes.

“My diet is pretty crazy,” he said. “I eat around nine times a day, every two hours. Sometimes I wake up to eat chicken at 4 a.m. Mostly protein (beef/chicken), red or sweet potatoes and steamed veggies.”
