Thao and The Get Down Stay Down, a San Francisco-based alternative folk rock band, plays the Troubadour at 8 p.m. The band was formed in 2003 by lead singer Thao Nguyen, who recently signed with Ribbon Music and released her new album “We the Common.”
The first single off the record is “Holy Roller.”
Also playing at the show will be Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside, which plays a mix of old and contemporary jazz blues.
The show is for all ages and costs $15.
