More than 40 breweries brought their brews to the fourth annual LA Vegan Beer and Food Festival held in the Roxy Theatre parking lot in West Hollywood on Saturday.
While beer is principally brewed with grain, yeast and hops, some brewers use animal products in brews, such as milk or oyster stouts and ales brewed with honey. Often non-vegan ingredients, such as animal gelatin, egg shells and isinglass, are used to filter the final product.
The festival also included 30 vegan food vendors and plenty of live music. Below, check out photos from freelance photographer Jon Viscott.
Events in Los Angeles are always amazing ! definitely will visit this festival in the future !
That looks like so much fun on a beautiful day.
