William Blake was arguably one of the world’s first straight allies. Though he himself was not gay, his poetry and art argued for freedom in love, and strongly influenced many artists and activists over the years. “Voices of L.A.” features eight original compositions based on Blake’s poetry. The West Hollywood Library is located at 625 N. San Vicente Blvd. south of Santa Monica. More information available here.
