Ian MacKinnon, a gay performer and activist, opens the third part of his “Gay Hist-Orgy” show at Spirit Studio, 2601 Hyperion Ave. and Evans. “Gay Hist-Orgy” is a one-man show that retells history through a gay lens. The show runs for seven Saturdays until July 13. Tickets, $20, are online.
As a co-creator of this show and a Weho resident, I was really happy to see this post online. Part One was partially funded by the city of West Hollywood and played to a rousing respnse and a standing ovation in the now endangered Fiesta Hall where we used to hold ACT UP meetings. That success led to two sequels. I have been following and commenting on all the election debates on your site.
