British-Themed Nightclub Hooray Henry’s Opens in WeHo

London’s calling, WeHo. And LA’s hottest nightlife impresarios are on the other line.

The Beverly is out, and Hooray Henry’s is in. The new British club concept from John Terzian’s h.wood.group, the same group that brought you David Arquette’s Bootsy Bellows, arrived Wednesday night to a soft-opening that included celebrities, media, family and friends.

The club, at 8713 Beverly Blvd. just across from Cedars Sinai Medical Center, replaces the former Beverly nightspot.

The idea is simple: kids took over the London manor while mom and dad were out.

With Hooray Henry’s, Terzian has created a London soiree gone off the rails, with Arquette, the “Scream” franchise star, once again, as partner, along with Brian Toll and Markus Molinari.

The booths will make you think you’re driving in a Rolls Royce. Deep blue automotive paint lines the detailed wall and ceiling panels. The bathrooms are reminiscent of the 60s underground London mod scene.

“We create moments in time, an experience for our customers who become our friends and family,” said Terzian.

Terzian is the visionary behind Hooray Henry’s. His company also operates Bootsy Bellows in WeHo and SHOREbar in Santa Monica.

Designing Henry’s was John Sofio of Built, which has designed The Viper Room, Pink Taco and SHOREbar.

The club opened to the public on Thursday, Aug. 8, and will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights.

The soft opening event brought out openly gay NBA player Jason Collins, Adam Lambert, Arquette, James Van Der Beek and a number of others.
