A walking tour featuring creative inhabitants of West Hollywood from the Roaring 20s to today, including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe, will be put on by the West Hollywood Preservation Alliance on Saturday, Aug. 17. The tour, which begins at 10 a.m., promises to feature Craftsman, Spanish revival and mid-century modern buildings. Starting location and parking suggestions will be provided when you sign up. Wear comfy shoes and dress for weather. There will be time to discuss upcoming tours at the end of the walk. A $10 donation will benefit the non-profit West Hollywood Preservation Alliance.
