Photographer Jeannette Montgomery Barron discusses and signs her new book “Scene” at Book Soup, 8818 Sunset Blvd. and Holloway. “Scene” is a collection of portraits of renowned personalities from New York City’s underground culture in the 1980s. Portraits included are those of Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Willem Dafoe, Julian Schnabel, Robert Mapplethorpe, Jenny Holzer, Cindy Sherman, Kathryn Bigelow, George Condo and William Burroughs. The event is free and open to the public.
