A DUI checkpoint will be conducted on southbound Fairfax Ave. just south of Santa Monica in West Hollywood on Friday, Sept. 27.
It will run from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Thousands of Americans will die as a result of traffic collisions this year. In at least half of these fatal collisions, alcoholic beverages will be a major contributing factor.
