A WeHo gay men’s sportwear and underwear store is closing its doors … and sprinting two blocks down the street to new digs. LA Jock will relocate and expand, and an ES Collection menswear store will move into the store’s former location in early October.
The new LA Jock location, 7978 and 7992 Santa Monica Blvd. at N. Laurel, will include two components: LA Jock Athletic, which will carry its sportswear collections, and LA Jock Seduction, which will specialize in intimate wear.
The WeHo ES Collection, which will open at the former LA Jock storefront, 8915 Santa Monica Blvd. at San Vicente, will be the first American retail outlet for the Barcelona-based sportswear brand, according to a press release. It will carry apparel including athletic gear, sports underwear and swimsuits. The company also plans to open stores in Dallas, Palm Springs and Miami.
LA Jock and ES Collection will celebrate their respective openings with events at their stores on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m.
