Los Angeles County firefighters spent 25 minutes battling a blaze in the attic of a West Hollywood apartment building this morning, confining fire damage to one unit, a dispatch supervisor said.
The fire was reported at 3 a.m. in the attic of one unit of the two-story building at 1445 N. Hayworth Ave., said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Miguel Ornelas.
Forty firefighters put out the flames in 25 minutes, Ornelas said. No injuries were reported.
Unfortunately, 3 cats perished in the fire. Please support Valerie Jean Miller, the occupant of the apartment, help get her life back in order. Thanks for helping in the spirit of the holidays!
