Joe Hollywood, the West Hollywood resident and self-made Internet personality, is in the hospital following an attack in the early morning hours of Jan. 30 near Santa Monica Boulevard and Vermont Avenue.
Hollywood, who posted about the attack on one of his Facebook pages, confirmed the attack in an email exchange with WEHOville.com. He said he has been diagnosed as suffering from a brain hematoma and concussion. Hollywood said he was assaulted and robbed by a small group. Los Angeles police are continuing to investigate the attack but haven’t identified any suspects.
Hollywood has become an Internet personality with more than 1,000 followers on one Facebook account and more than 7,000 on another, 108,000 Twitter followers and 290,000 MySpace.com connections. His web blog also has attracted followers with its collection of bizarre and funny photos.
His IMDb profile identifies him as an ” American Internet Celebrity, Reality Actor, Actor, Singer, Fashion Designer, DJ and Socialite” and says he has appeared on MTV, VH1, LOGO, E!, FOX, HBO and Showtime.

This is actually a serious matter, and I don’t know why 3rd party media outlets are making fun of this. Joe is in critical condition. It really is messed up how someone has to be treated in-order to make it in this town.
