Behind the Scenes at HIV Equal’s Los Angeles Photo Shoot

It was December when HIV Equal came to Los Angeles as part of its campaign against stigmatizing people with HIV and to encourage people to get tested for the virus. The LA stop resulted in dozens of photographs, many posted on WEHOville.com and on HIV Equal’s website, of local and national celebrities and even West Hollywood City Councilmembers John Duran and John D’Amico. Now HIV Equal has released a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot, with comments from various notables.

HIV Equal is a program of World Health Clinicians and was created by photographer Thomas Evans and Jack Mackenroth, the former Project Runway star, who is director of public relations and special events for WHC.
