Impulse Group attracted a crowd to West Hollywood’s Eleven Lounge last night for the initial screening of “Look,” the second in its series of videos design to provoke gay men to think about sex and HIV.

“Open” is a followup to “Knowing,” a video released in December, that explored the development of a relationship between a serodiscordant gay couple.

John Saint-Denis of Advisorie Group, who wrote both, said: “I think relationships are always more complex than they appear on the surface. Moments of restlessness, frustration, disappointment and distraction are part of day to day life. We’ve set out to show those moments without any judgment on the feelings, and we tried to show them in an artistic and appealing way. I think simply reminding ourselves to choose love in those moments is what can set us apart.”

Others involved in the project included Impulse Group Director of Community Outreach Michael Eisman writer Ian Klein, producer Chris Rallo and director Nino Mancuso. The couple featured in both videos were played by Kyle Heinen and Namir Nasir, with “Open” adding a character played by Peter Rothbard.
