 The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting checks in West Hollywood of drivers to uncover those driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or driving without a proper drivers license.The checks are scheduled for April 11 from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. They are conducted in locations that deputies believe have the greatest opportunity for deterring drunk and drugged driving and providing the greatest safety for officers and the public. A major component of these checkpoints is the deterrent effects it has on those who might drive drunk or drug impaired, bringing about more awareness, and encouraging everyone to use sober designated drivers |
