While West Hollywood has already begun its annual celebration of LGBT Pride with forums, light shows, readings and other events, the city and Christopher Street West will formally kick off the event today with a community celebration.
The “A Community Pride Kick-Off Celebration” will be at West Hollywood Library, 625 N. San Vicente Blvd., south of Santa Monica. It will feature an open gymnasium, library tours, food trucks, music by DJ Woody Woodbeck and remarks by Mayor John D’Amico. Outfest will host a screening of “Love and Marriage, In Small Doses,” a compilation of short films, at 7:30 p.m.
