The City of West Hollywood is gathering nominations for its 16th Annual Disability Service Awards, which will be presented at a reception in October 2014 as part of Disability Awareness Month.
The Disability Service Awards recognize individuals, businesses, media, and nonprofit organizations for their work with people living with disabilities, including accessibility issues, attention to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and/or advocacy.
Nominations will be accepted until through 5 p.m. on August 15 at 5 p.m. Self-nominations are welcome. The city’s Disabilities Advisory Board will select honorees at its August 27 meeting.
