Like a beacon to comic and pop culture-lovers everywhere, Comic-Con is drawing throngs of people to San Diego.

So many people attend Comic-Con, the world’s largest comic convention, that tickets got snapped up within an hour and a half of going on sale in March. (And don’t even ask what San Diego hotel rooms are going for!)

For LGBT geeks lucky enough to get in to the convention, which begins tonight and runs through Sunday, there are plenty of LGBT-oriented panels and events to check out. Prism Comics, a nonprofit that supports LGBT comics, creators and readers, rounded up the most LGBT-relevant content (including many events in which Prism plays a part) in its “Gay Agenda.”

Highlights include:

Thursday, July 24

  • 5-6 p.m. – Breaking Barriers: Transgender Trends in Popular Culture (Room 28DE)
  • 6-7 p.m. – LGBT Geek Year in Review (Room 28DE)

Friday, July 25

  • 2-3 p.m. – LGBT Comics for Young Readers (Room 28DE)
  • 5-6 p.m. – We Are Husbands and You Can Too! (Room 23ABC)
