Two armed men robbed BOA Steakhouse on Sunset Boulevard early this morning.
According to Sgt. Enrique Mandujan of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, the men entered the back door of the restaurant, which is at 9200 Sunset Blvd. just east of Phyllis Street, around 2 a.m.
One of the men pointed a gun at the restaurant manager and demanded he turn over money from the restaurant safe as welll as staff tips. Mandujan said detectives estimated between $6,000 and $8,000 was stolen.
Mandujan said the robbery is still under investigation and no arrests have been made as yet.
BOA Steakhouse is one of several restaurants owned by the Innovation Dining Group. It is known as much for its celebrity diners as for his cuisine, which is highly rated by review services such as Zagat.
