“joetheplummber”, interviewing candidates shows a lack of neutrality???? it would behoove you not to taunt people about their names when you don’t have the courage to post under your real name.

Mr. Jones: I don’t live in a glass house. And, I won’t presume that because you have such a common name that you have a standard IQ of 100. Rather, you just missed the point. A moderator of a debate should have the appearance of neutrality. In the televised debate the moderator was from KABC and professional. By contrast, Mr. Harrison interviewed two of the debate candidates before the Wednesday debate on his radio show. Mr. Harrison, Mr. D’Amico and Ms. Meister should all know that smacks of a lack of integrity and transparency. If I haven’t said it all,… Read more »

Hey Mike Dolan I don’t think Joe the Plummber said it all. He conveniently left out the “dog and pony show” of the first debate run by the Chamber.

According to the campaign finance statements, Chamber Chair Keith Kaplan made the first donation to the pro-Lindsey Horvath PAC on 1/15–nine days before the chamber debate!

Chamber “volunteer” Doug Stitchler, who was taking audience questions during the debate, is the Treasurer of said PAC, and Chamber Board Member Owen Ward is the Principal Officer.

He who lives in glass houses….

I’m sorry I have to agree with Mr. Dolan. This is a “Dog and Pony Show” for D’Amico and Meister. I listened to the radio show. Mr. Harrison is not neutral and more telling is that the two blast other council members over Transparency when D’Amico voted against Heilman’s bill for campaign reform. I am sorry but D’Amico is already a politician and Lauren needs no air time or further time to debate to show that she talks out of both sides of her mouth about a single issue–development. As I listened I realized she wants to be Nancy Reagan:… Read more »

Why is he biased, @Mike Dolan? Do tell.

But I think we will have to worry about his bias towards the D’Amico-Meister slate. Just my opinion.

You will be able to tweet in questions – instructions are available at Goharrison.com – also Cary works for NPR – as in National Public Radio – and the event will be streamed live on Goharrison.com. Cary is the consumate professional and we won’t have to worry about him ‘flirting’ with any of the candidates the way that moderator of the forum sponsored by the Chamber/League of Women voters did with Mr. Heilman.
