City Hall will be closed on Monday in observance of César Chávez Day. Parking regulations will be enforced as usual on Monday.
“César Chávez fought for social justice for immigrants and workers,” said West Hollywood Councilmember Lauren Meister. “West Hollywood hopes to honor his legacy by increasing awareness of his advocacy on these issues by making César Chávez’s birthday a holiday not just for our employees, but also for the residents and visitors who will be parking at our meters.”
Those seeking visitor permits on Monday can get them at the Kings Road Municipal Parking Structure, located at 8383 Santa Monica Blvd. at Kings Road, and at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, 780 N. San Vicente Blvd. at Santa Monica.
Remembering a legacy one quarter at a time.
I hope the city finds another way to make up for that loss of revenue.
