Sunset Boulevard was closed early this morning as deputies and firefighters responded to a traffic collision in front of Pink Taco restaurant on Sunset Boulevard that injured two people.
Apparently a driver lost control of his vehicle, which hit a power pole and fire hydrant and rolled over into another car. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Sunset near Crescent Heights. Observers on the scene said there were five people in the overturned car — three of whom escaped and two of whom were trapped inside until removed by firefighters. They were taken to the hospital.
Sunset Boulevard was closed until just before 5 a.m.
