An investigation is underway today into an arson attempt on the Kardashian sisters’ Dash clothing boutique in West Hollywood.
A passerby reported at 11:30 p.m. Monday seeing a man throw a lit object toward the store at 8420 Melrose Ave., breaking its window, said Lt. Vance Duffy of the sheriff’s West Hollywood station.
The store did not catch fire, said sheriff’s Lt. Edward Ramirez, adding that “there was no damage to any of the property inside.” The object hurled into the store was heavy and wrapped in fabric, he said.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene and concluded their initial probe at about 2:15 a.m. today, Duffy said, adding that no arrests were made. An arson investigation was continuing, he said. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact the sheriff’s department at (310) 855-8850.
This looks like a publicity stunt coming from a family willing to do just about anything for constant media exposure! Bet if the story was posted and simply didn’t mention who owned the store, the owners would be even more upset about this. An arson attempt with a “heavy object wrapped in fabric” and “there was no damage to any of the property inside?” This was a very inept arsonist, was the fabric lit on fire wrapped around the heavy object as bad of quality used to make the clothing the store sells?
