It will be available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily (and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Cooling center hours will be extended for additional days if high temperatures persist.

In an announcement of the opening, the city reminded residents and community members to take precautions to keep as cool as possible throughout the warm summer months — if possible, stay out of the sun, avoid strenuous activity, drink plenty of water and wear light clothing. Cityline operates Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and shuttles arrive approximately every 30 minutes. Additional information and a detailed route map in available online. Route maps also are available on Cityline shuttles and at West Hollywood City Hall, 8300 Santa Monica Blvd. at Sweetzer.
