The City of West Hollywood is soliciting nominations for 2016 Public Safety Awards. The annual Public Safety Awards are a way recognize individuals, groups and businesses that have made significant efforts towards enhancing public safety in West Hollywood.
Eligible awards nominees include people who have made extraordinary efforts to volunteer for public safety programs or events; have organized community-watch groups; have made efforts at strengthening law enforcement and community partnerships; have dedicated many hours of service to the Sheriff’s Department or Fire Department, or have demonstrated leadership in any of a variety of ways that have contributed to a safer community.
Nominations must be submitted by next Friday. A nomination form is available as a downloadable file on the city’s website. A copy of the form also may be requested by contacting Bonnie Smith, the city’s public safety supervisor, at (323) 848-6371.
