WeHo Saw $6,620 in Vehicle Burglaries Last Week

Below is the weekly crime report from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station that calls out incidents in WeHo from Feb. 13 to 19. The list also includes each case number.

Feb. 13

Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested). 8400 block Sunset Boulevard at 11:30 p.m. A women was hit in the back of the head by a rock thrown by a male transient. Deputies responded, located and arrested the suspect. #00817

Grand Theft. 9000 block Elevado Avenue between 10 p.m. and 9:15 a.m. An unknown suspect removed a jacket from a vehicle parked in an unlocked vehicle storage area and both vehicle headlights. Loss $2,400. #00822

Vehicle Burglary. 9000 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 7:40 p.m. and 9:50 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a bag containing a laptop and checks from underneath the front seat. Loss $2,080. #00815

Vehicle Burglary. 8700 block Sunset Boulevard between 9 p.m. and 12:15 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front driver’s side window and removed a backpack containing clothing. Loss $360. #00819

Feb. 14

Residential Burglary. 8900 block Cynthia Street between Feb. 14 and 16 an unknown suspect used force on a gate and removed a bicycle from the carport of the residence. Loss $3,000. #00867

Feb. 15

Other Burglary. 1100 block Alta Loma Road between 1:45 and 2:15 p.m. An unknown suspect broke the lock and removed a bicycle from the subterranean parking garage. Loss $1,050. #00841

Armed Robbery. 1200 block Hayworth Avenue at 2:10 a.m. Two men standing on the sidewalk were robbed at gunpoint by a man. The suspect fled the area northbound on Hayworth. Loss $1,900 (2 cell phones, Gucci Wallet). #00830

Feb. 16

Grand Theft. 1100 block Clark Street between 12:01 a.m and noon. A man removed a laptop from the bedroom after being invited to the residence by the victim. Loss $3,500. #00896

Residential Burglary. 600 block Westbourne Drive between 10 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. An unknown suspect entered an opened front door and removed a desktop computer from the living room. Loss $900. #00883

Vehicle Burglary. 600 block Orlando Avenue between 9:30 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. An unknown suspect removed a bag containing jewelry from the interior. No sign of forced entry. Loss $110. #00886

Feb. 18

Residential Burglary. 8900 block Dorrington Avenue at 9:11 p.m. A man used an unlocked patio door to gain access and was confronted in the kitchen by the resident. The man ran from the location. No loss. #00913

Feb. 19

Vehicle Burglary. 7100 Santa Monica Boulevard, Gateway parking garage between 2:30 and 5 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a bag containing $600 cash and two passports from the back seat. Loss $800. #00931

Vehicle Burglary. 7100 Santa Monica Boulevard, Gateway parking garage between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a purse containing sunglasses and a wallet from underneath the passenger seat. Loss $870. #00933
