Armed Robbery. Romaine Street / Sweetzer Avenue at 1 p.m. A man was walking north bound on Sweetzer when he was confronted by three men who demanded his property. One of the suspects showed the victim a handgun. The victim complied, and the suspects fled the area. Loss $915 (cellphone, wallet, headphones). #01102

Residential Burglary. 1100 block Clark Street between 6:15 and 10:40 p.m. An unknown suspect removed the locking mechanism on a sliding glass door to gain entry and removed a Persian rug, gold necklace, and a crystal ornament from the living room. Loss $3,625. #01132

Vehicle Burglary. 9000 Block Melrose Avenue between 10:45 p.m. and 12:45 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and pulled out a sun shade from under the front passenger’s side seat. The sun shade was not taken. Loss $500 (window). #01177

Vehicle Burglary. 9000 block Melrose Avenue between 8 and 9:45 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a suitcase containing clothing and two backpacks containing a laptop, sunglasses, and laptop charger from the floorboard area. Loss $2,000.
Vehicle Burglary. 9000 block Melrose Avenue between 8:30 and 10 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing clothing, $450 in cash, and a laptop charger from the rear floorboard area. Loss $1,000. #01194
