Few Reported Crime Incidents in WeHo Last Week

Below is the weekly crime report from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station that calls out incidents in WeHo from March 6 to March 12. The list also includes each case number.

March 6

Aggravated Assault – Hands, Fist, Feet (Suspect Arrested). 8700 block Melrose Avenue
at 9:52 a.m. A man was standing on the sidewalk when he was punched in the face by without provocation by a homeless man. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect continued to punch the victim in the face. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #01201

Vehicle Burglary. 8200 block Sunset Boulevard between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. . An unknown suspect smashed the rear storage area window and removed a duffel bag containing clothing and headphones from the rear storage area. Loss $825. #01208

Residential Burglary. 7200 block Hampton Avenue
between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The suspect used an unlocked front door to gain access to the residence and removed a camera from the living room. Loss $2,100. #01322

Aggravated Assault – Hands, Fist, Feet. 9200 block Sunset Boulevard at 12:30 a.m.. A man was head-butted one time in the face after he accidentally bumped into the suspect. #01272

Grand Theft. 8800 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 1 a.m. Two men removed a wallet and cell phone from the victim while on the dance floor. Loss $1,075. #01273

Strong Arm Robbery. 600 block Robertson Boulevard at 12:10 a.m. A man was on the dance floor when two men reached into his jacket and removed his cell phone and wallet. The victim began to resist and was shoved to the ground, but he was able to retain his cell phone. Both suspects ran from the club. Loss $50. #01271

March 12

Residential Burglary. 900 block Hayworth Avenue at 3:50 a.m. A man used an unlocked front door to gain access to the residence and was confronted in the living room by the victim. The victim screamed, causing the suspect to walk out of the residence. No loss. #01300

Armed Robbery (Suspect Arrested). 1100 block Fairfax Avenue at 12:25 p.m. A homeless man removed three bottles of soda and left the store without payment. When confronted outside the store by an employee, the suspect produced a knife and attempted to stab the employee Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #01305
