April 24
Grand Theft. 8900 block Rosewood Avenue
04/24/2017 between 9:20 p.m. and 10:45 a.m. An unknown suspect removed a bag containing clothing from the interior of the unlocked vehicle. Loss $7,500. #02102
April 25
Burglary – Residential (Suspect Arrested). 8300 block De Longpre Avenue at 8 a.m. A male adult transient was arrested after he was found sleeping inside of a residence. #02100
Armed Robbery. Formosa Avenue / Santa Monica Boulevard at 9:30 pm. Two men were walking north bound on Formosa when three men blocked their path on the sidewalk. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victims and demanded their property. Loss $1,000 (cell phone). #02113
Vehicle Burglary. 7100 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 7 a.m. and 2:55 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front driver’s side window and removed a backpack containing clothing and glasses from the front floor board area. Loss $470. #02111

Burglary – Residential. 1000 block Stanley Drive
at 1:30 p.m. An unknown suspect removed window louvers to gain access to the residence and removed a bag of tools from the bedroom. Loss $650. #02139
Strong Arm Robbery. Santa Monica Boulevard / Palm Avenue at 4:30 a.m. A man was walking westbound on Santa Monica when a vehicle occupied by three men parked nearby. The three men surrounded the victim and took his wallet. A short struggle ensued before the suspects fled the area on foot. Loss $55. #02146

Burglary – Locker. 8600 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 3:30 p.m. An unknown suspect cut the lock and removed a cell phone, glasses, and duffel bag from the gym locker. Loss $1,340. #02159
Vehicle Burglary. 1000 block Orange Grove between 9:30 and 10 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed both rear windows and removed two backpacks from the back seat. Loss $330. #02161
Vehicle Burglary. 7300 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 8 and 9:45 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer and blue tooth speakers from the back seat. Loss $1,300. #02162
Vehicle Burglary. Santa Monica Boulevard / Doheny Drive between 8:45 p.m. and 12:15 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed sunglasses and $2,000 in cash from the center console. Loss $2,350. #02168
Vehicle Burglary. Croft Avenue / Santa Monica Boulevard between 8:50 p.m. and 12:50 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a handbag from the backseat. Loss $250. #02170

Grand Theft. 600 block Robertson Boulevard between at 1 and 1:50 a.m. An unknown suspect removed two cell phones and a wallet while the victim was on the dance floor. Loss $1,150. #02205
This is a joke, every week. If they are that brain dead to leave their crap in plain site in their car, it’s really hard to feel for them. So absurd.
Why don’t these victims put their stuff at least in the trunk of their auto or take it with them?
