The “MisMatch Game,” which the L.A. Times has called “witty, ribald … an adventure in surrealist era bending,” is back again this weekend. Dennis Hensley’s funny parody of “The MisMatch Game” will take place at 8 p.m. on July 21 and 7 p.m. on July 23 at the L.A. LGBT Center’s Renberg Theatre.
The cast on Friday will include (in alphabetical order) Rachel Butera (Rosie O’Donnell), Drew Droege (Tanya Roberts), Maile Flanagan (Danny Bonaduce), Daran Norris (Julia Child), Sam Pancake (Lucille Ball), and Marc Samuel (President Barack Obama). On Sunday, the cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Julie Brown (Melania Trump), Danny Casillas (Reba Areba), Dante (Jack Nicholson), Rebekah Kochan (Pamela Anderson), Felix Pire (Ricardo Montalban) and Chris Pudlo (Pee-wee Herman).
General admission tickets are $15 and may be purchased online at lalgbtcenter.org/theatre or by phone at (323) 860-7300. The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Renberg Theatre is located at 1125 N. McCadden Place (one block east of Highland, just north of Santa Monica Boulevard), in Hollywood. During construction of the Center’s new facility, free parking is limited, so allow extra time to find parking, or choose public transportation or a ride service.
