L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded around 3:20 p.m. today to a report of a woman found unconscious at 802 West Knoll Drive at Sherwood. According to the watch commander at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, deputies have declared the area a crime scene and are investigating what happened.
A man was observed arriving at the scene in a black Maserati and became visibly upset after speaking with deputies. Rescue workers arrived and initially left the scene without a body. Several hours later, deputies and employees of the L.A. County Coroner’s office removed the body of a woman from the building, which is in the Tri-West area of West Hollywood steps away from Le Parc Suites hotel. A video of the investigation can be viewed here.
Any word on the identity of the woman and why it appears to be a crime?
Witnessing that man’s grief was heart-wrenching.
Technology is a double edged sword. Sadly, nothing is sacred anymore, and there’s little any of us can do to change that.
Please Wehoville, take this video down. It is beyond offensive and voyeuristic.
That man that you see is my friend. I didn’t know I was going to see him in this video.
@Randy…..I concur.
Whoever took that video should be ashamed for publishing that tragic moment (where the guy arrives). I’m ashamed for having watched it, although I didn’t know what I was going to see, exactly. That person should have shown some sign of respect, and edited that portion out. It is quite disgraceful. Just what someone needs, their tragic moment shared through social media.
