Gay for Good Los Angeles is seeking volunteers to distribute food at the Islamic Center of Southern California’s food pantry.

The distribution will take place from 9:45 to 11:30 a.m. In that period approximately 6,000 pounds of fresh produce, dry and canned goods and meat are distributed to about 150 local families.

The Islamic Center’s Food Pantry, located at 434 S. Vermont Ave. in Los Angeles, is a volunteer-run service program that has been regularly serving the Los Angeles Koreatown community since 2004.

Volunteers can RSVP online and are asked to wear comfortable shoes and dress modestly.
