Take a look at the LGBT history of downtown Los Angeles with a tour starting with a mimosa and appetizers at Redline bar and ending with a brunch there.
It all begins at 11 a.m. at Redline, which is at 131 E. 6th St. in Los Angeles. The tour, led by Jim Anzide, explores everything from the gay-friendly Native Americans who first settled here to L.A.’s first gay porn theatre (which opened in the 1880’s) to the grand hotels and bathhouses that sated the secret desires of the Hollywood elite.
Tickets are $65 and include bottomless mimosas, appetizers and a full brunch (21 and over please). Only 15 sports are available per tour. Reservations can be made online.
