Models of Pride, the world’s largest free conference for LGBTQ youth, celebrates its 25th anniversary. With an eye towards activism, among the more than 100 workshops are sessions on transgender rights, fighting deportation, being LGBTQ in the U.S. military and community organizing. The conference takes place on the University of Southern California campus. Registration is open until Oct. 26, and volunteers are still needed.
