Perhaps it would be a good idea to make the speed limit on Fountain 25 mph. With no restricted turn signage and excessive speeding day and night, except when traffic is jammed, this is a hazardous situation getting worse with impetuous drivers glued to their phones.

Implementing a speed change and motorcycle cope may be the only deterrent. The current flashing speed sign is of little consequence, folks speed past.

I live on that corner and there is a car crash pretty much weekly. But the city won’t take any action. I guess someone will have to die first.

AVOID FOUNTAIN IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE AND VEHICLE!

Forget about what Bette Davis said.

That was quite a crash yesterday to hear from 2 blocks away apparently someone cutting across Fountain or making a turn on to Havenhurst.

People in this town drive way too fast. I used to take Fountain from home to work in Hollywood but I got sick and tired of idiots in their over-sized SUV’s driving anywhere from 10 to 15 mph over the speed limit. There isn’t much room on Fountain to compensate for these people if one is to avoid an accident.
