Sunset Boulevard was closed in both directions this morning as the Los Angeles Police Department investigated a vehicle collision in front of Chateau Marmont near Havenhurst.
Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station discovered the crash at approximately 5 a.m. The L.A. County Fire Department responded and extricated a woman who had been driving one of the cars. She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene on foot. LAPD officers found him hiding in the bathroom at a nearby gas station and arrested him.
