The City of West Hollywood is soliciting nominations for its 2018 Rainbow Key Awards, which recognize people who have made outstanding contributions to the LGBTQ community. Nominations will be accepted through Feb. 1.

Nominations will be reviewed by the city’s Lesbian and Gay Advisory Board which will make recommendations to the City Council, which makes the final choices.

Past honorees of Rainbow Key Awards have included individuals and groups whose contributions to the LGBTQ community have taken many forms, including the arts, community action, humanitarian action, sports, medicine, armed services, leadership, benefit to the global gay and lesbian community, or in other ways. More than 150 Rainbow Key Awards have been presented during the past 25 years.

The nomination form is available for download online at http://www.weho.org/Home/ShowDocument?id=23760. To request a hard copy of the nomination form, or for more information, please contact Jeff Book, staff liaison to the Lesbian and Gay Advisory Board, at (323) 848-6471 or jbook@weho.org.
