I think I can speak for all gay men that our straight friends assume that there would be chemistry between us and another gay man at a party just because we were gay. That’s the story of Matt and Joe, who are pushed into a “forced’ meeting at a going away party for Matt’s high school friend.
Joe, who has just met Jessica, was invited to the party because Jessica thought he and Matt would either become besties or get married. It’s kind of sweet and sad that straight people assume gay men or women are going to “fall in love” on first meeting. Though Jessica’s heart is in the right place, she really makes it awkward for Joe and Matt, who are just starting to get to know one another.
