Below is the weekly crime report from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station that calls out incidents in WeHo from Jan. 29 to Feb. 4 (no report was released for the previous week). The list includes each case number. This report lists Part 1 (serious) crimes for the date range shown and is not meant to be a complete list of all serious crimes. Jan. 29

Grand Theft. 1200 block La Brea Avenue between 5 and 7:30 p.m. An unknown suspect removed a Rolex watch that was left unattended in the apartment complex gymnasium. Loss $6,000. #00659

Other Burglary. 7400 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 4:41 p.m. A man used an open front door to gain access and removed a cell phone from the front counter area. Loss $600. #00617

Other Burglary (Suspect Arrested). 1000 block North Doheny Drive at 1 p.m. A man removed a package from the mail room and fled the area on foot. The suspect was arrested on 01/30/2018. Loss $150. #00633

Arson/Residential. 7600 block of Norton Avenue at 10:30 p.m.

Assault/Non-Aggravated. 8900 block of Sunset Boulevard at 12:01 a.m.

Petty Theft/Vehicle. 900 block of North Kings Road at 10:30 p.m.

Jan. 30

Grand Theft 8400 block Sunset Boulevard at 8:30 am. An unknown suspect removed a Louis Vuitton purse from the loading dock of the hotel. Loss $24,000. #00637

Grand Theft (Suspect Arrested). 7100 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 4:08 p.m. A women removed food, alcohol, and cosmetics and left the store without payment. The suspect was arrested. Loss $1,017 (Recovered). #00639

Other Burglary (Suspect Arrested). 1000 block Carol Drive at 2:05 p.m. A man removed packages from the mail room and fled the area on foot. Responding units located and arrested the suspect and recovered the stolen items. The suspect is responsible for three other similar incidents, refer to 18-00141, 18-00356, and 18-00633. Loss $44 (Recovered). #00632

Vehicle Burglary. Ogden Drive / Santa Monica Boulevard from 6 p.m. to 7:45 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a bag containing tools from the interior. Loss $1,360. #00647

Vehicle Burglary. 900 block Fairfax Avenue from 7 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a tool bag containing tools from the cargo area of the van. Loss $4,500. #00650

Vehicle Break-in. 8800 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at 1 a.m.

Non-Aggravated Assault. Palm Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard at 2 a.m.

Petty Theft/Shoplifting. 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at 7:55 a.m.

Non-Aggravated Assault. 500 block of North Orlando Avenue at 10:30 a.m.

Feb. 1

Assault/Non-Aggravated (domestic assault). 1000 block of Edinburgh Avenue at 11:50 p.m.

Feb. 2

Other Burglary 9000 block Sunset Boulevard at 4:15 a.m. An unknown suspect used force on the back door to gain entry and tampered with a cash register and removed two pieces of electronic equipment from the DJ booth. The electronic equipment was recovered outside of the business. Loss $750 (recovered). #00702

Other Burglary. 1100 block Fairfax Avenue at 6:20 a.m. An unknown suspect broke the front store window to gain access but did not take anything. Loss $1,000 (windows). #00703

Residential Burglary. 1100 block Greenacre Avenue at 12:10 a.m. An unknown suspect broke the glass panel of a bedroom door to gain access and searched the bedroom dressers. Loss $200 (window). #00727

Non-Aggravated Assault (domestic). 1000 block of Westbourne Drive at 8:40 a.m.

Petty Theft/Shoplifting. 8600 block of Melrose Avenue at 1:25 p.m.

Feb. 3

Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested). 9200 block West Sunset Boulevard at 1:55 a.m. A man hit a security guard in the face with a beer bottle during an altercation while inside a nightclub. The suspect was arrested. #00729

Vehicle Burglary. 8900 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 9:30 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and searched the vehicle but did not take anything. Loss $100. #00745

Feb. 4

Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon. 8800 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 9:15 p.m. A man tried to break up a fight that started inside a nightclub and was hit on the head with an unknown object. A second man involved in the fight suffered cuts to his arms and face. #00759

Petty Larceny (shoplifting). 7100 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at 8:55 p.m.

Non-Aggravated Assault (domestic). 1100 block of Alta Loma Road at 8:15 a.m.

Vehicle Break-in. 8900 block of Sunset Boulevard at noon.
