Then consider hustling over to one of the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder County Clerk offices tomorrow, which will be offering same-day wedding ceremonies to same-sex couples. Remember, tomorrow is Valentine’s Day!
No prior appointments will be necessary. The fee for a wedding ceremony is $35. The fee to purchase the marriage license is a separate fee ($91 for a public license and $85 for a confidential license).
The Norwalk office will be open for ceremonies from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. District offices will be open for ceremonies from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You can apply for your marriage license online before arriving at one of those offices.
