Four Car Burglaries in Otherwise Quiet Week in West Hollywood

Below is the weekly crime report from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station that calls out incidents in WeHo from Feb. 19 to Feb. 25. The list includes each case number. This report lists Part 1 (serious) crimes for the date range shown and is not meant to be a complete list of all serious crimes.

Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested). 7500 block Fountain Avenue at 7:15 pm. A man climbed a wall and broke the balcony trellis to gain access to a sliding glass door and entered the apartment. Responding deputies arrested the suspect as he was attempting to leave the residence. #01190

Feb. 22

Vehicle Burglary. La Jolla Avenue / Santa Monica Boulevard at 2:30 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and the rear windshield and removed a golf bag, ski boots, ski clothing, miscellaneous electronics and a Go Pro camera from the trunk. Loss $4,000. #01213

Vehicle Burglary. 1000 block Fairfax Avenue at 8:47 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a men’s suit and a women’s sweater from the back seat. Loss $400. #01219

Feb. 23

Vehicle Burglary. 7100 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 11:30 and 11:45 p.m. An unknown suspect removed sunglasses from the front console and a passport, keys, and driver’s license from the glovebox. No sign of forced entry. Loss $120. #01291

Feb. 24

Strong Arm Robbery. 1200 block Harper Avenue at 11:25 p.m. A women was punched one time in the face by a man while inside of her home. The suspect took marijuana from a bedroom closet and fled the area on foot along with two women. All three suspects were invited into the residence by the victim. Loss $80. #01261

Vehicle Burglary. 1234 La Brea Avenue between Feb. 24 and 26. An unknown suspect removed $120 cash and a makeup bag from the center console, and a dog bed from the front passenger seat. No sign of forced entry. Loss $255. #01295
