Most people don’t realize that drag itself has been around in TV and film for decades. From “Bugs Bunny” to “RuPaul Charles,” the media have always given a nod to the comedy of men pretending to be women — the art of female impersonation.

We also see the art and intricacy involved in bringing these characters to life that makes them so memorable. Drag has always fascinated me, and I respect the craft of drag performers and dedication to it.
