I can’t get enough of short films like this that really embrace the fact that we, as LGBT individuals, don’t have to hind and pretend to be something that we aren’t.
In this short film we have Zach who brings along his overly flamboyant roommate, Eduardo, to his basketball pick-up game with his straight best friend. However, we soon find out that Zach has been hiding his sexuality from his straight friend in fear of losing that friendship. Although, we soon find out that the outcome of the game takes an unexpected turn when Zach finally does tell the truth.
I love Kyle’s funny but important message that he has through this whole video that really points that too many people have come before us to fight and protest so that we all could stop living in the shadows. Also, this #ThirstTrapRealness has me hotter than a snow cone on the fourth of July.
