A free LGBTQ family building seminar will take place on Nov. 7 at the Andaz Hotel, 8401 Sunset Blvd., in West Hollywood.

The seminar will feature fertility doctor Guy Ringler, M.D., from California Fertility Partners, for a discussion of fertility and surrogacy family-building options for LGBTQ people and same-sex couples.

Dr. Guy Ringler

Dr. Ringler was one of the very first doctors in the world to help people in the LGBTQ community have children, 25 years ago, and he will share his experiences as well as the latest information on all of these family-building options available to the community. He will also be free to answer any questions from those attending.

“As a gay man myself, some of the most rewarding work of my career has been helping same-sex couples and LGBTQ people have children,” says Ringler. “When I had my first gay patient over 20 years ago, LGBTQ people building families seemed like an impossibility. Today I take great pride in inspiring people in our community to build the families they have always wanted.”

The event is a collaboration between the National LGBTQ Task Force, California Fertility Partners and Alto Pharmacy.

It will begin with registration at 7 p.m. and a serving of light food, beer and wine. The presentation starts at 7:30 a.m. Those attending are asked to RSVP to [email protected]

Please do look into the Anti-LGBT Family legislation that has recently been put into place! The capitalist system has no interest in offering meaningful protection for any oppressed peoples, especially when it has a vested interest working against them. Not only does the maximization of profit process under capitalism encourage the division of working class people into hierarchical… Read more »
