Larry Block is known as the owner of The Block Party, which he bills as the gayest store on earth. But he also has a proud reputation for being a rabble rouser — pushing for crosswalk safety improvements, demanding that City Council members be nice to one another, making the case for a gay old version of the West Hollywood city flag.
For the past six years Block also has recited his annual West Hollywood poem, something that’s known for amusing some and annoying others. But it’s always an attention grabber. Block’s Dec. 18, 2018, recitation is in the video posted above.
Thank you Larry I enjoy this every year. It was hard to hear the end of the video but Duran sounded like the Grinch.
Well at least somebody can find some humor in all that is going on in this crazy town.
