The City of West Hollywood is getting the word out that Metro is holding 10 public workshops throughout Los Angeles County through Feb. 6 to receive public input as part of its NextGen Bus Study. The study involves extensive community feedback and is intended to improve the bus system across the region.
There will be a public workshop in West Hollywood on Wednesday (Jan. 9) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Plummer Park, located at 7377 Santa Monica Blvd. Community members are to share thoughts about how Metro can improve the bus system, including bus routes, frequencies, and days and times of operation. Participants will receive a free TAP card, while supplies last, and can enter a raffle to win one of multiple other prizes including one-day, seven-day, and 30-day Metro passes. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. The workshop is free and open to the public.
Plummer Park is accessible via Metro bus lines 4 and 704 as well as the City of West Hollywood’s Cityline Local and Cityline Commuter services. For transit route-planning information please visit www.metro.net or www.weho.org/cityline.
