Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s station arrested a man for impersonating a peace officer today. As deputies patrolled local businesses, they discovered the man sleeping in a car in the parking lot at Ralph’s grocery store on La Brea Avenue.
Deputies approached the vehicle to investigate because overnight parking was prohibited on that lot. As they made contact with the man, deputies noticed he was wearing a long sleeve shirt with an “LAPD” logo on the front and patches on the sleeves. During their investigation, they recognized the person from a recent video posted on social media. In the video it shows the same man, Daniel Sohn, claiming to be a police officer to a group of people. In that video, the man while wearing a police uniform was seen was seen chanting “white power” while leaving the 24 Hour Fitness gym in Hollywood.
The deputies verified that the man was not a police officer and arrested him for impersonating a police officer based on the video circulating throughout social media and the suspect’s admission.

It’s truly sad seeing a person of color not only trying to look like a white male cop but, acting like one! 🤣
I recognize this guy as being in the hot tub at 24Hour Fitness in W.H. talking nonsense to himself on a couple of occasions. Everyone thought he was just high on drugs.
Did he seem emotionally available and/or single?
